Finally it's here. We first tasted Emily's Marsanne nearly two years ago from her '21 vintage and to say we were obsessed is an understatement, but she'd already bottled and didn't have any for us to throw in keg so we had to forgo kegging. Cut to vintage '23 and hearing from Emily that she would be doing another Marsanne we locked that baby in.

Although fairly 'new' on the scene, Emily is churning out clean, refined wines that are made with intention and care that I'm certain would drag any conventional wine drinker over to the dark side of natural wine.

The '23 Marsanne is classic Emily: clean and welcoming and erupting with flavour. On the nose she's full of citrus with a hint of savoury green, likely coming through from the mostly whole pressed bunches. There's an earthiness to it that balances the fruit flavours that arrive on the palette, as well as more subtle floral hints of honeysuckle. First gulp brings a fruit forward punch, rockmelon, lemon curd and apricot and then we get that delicate honeysuckle rising up. She's bright with acidity that creeps up on you and delivers a lovely lingering finish. We couldn't be happier to finally be sharing this Marsanne with you all.

When you sign up for your subscription, you pay a one-off $8 deposit per bottle. This deposit is fully refundable if you want to cancel your subscription. Just send us an email to love@glou.com.au and we refund you upon collection of your Glou bottles.

Shipping

We deliver and collect old bottles on Thursdays from 3pm onwards. We unfortunately don’t ship. Instead we ride our e-cargo bike or drive in our Gloumobile (like the Batmobile), therefore we cannot deliver further than 10km from Glou (Collingwood).

Our closed-loop system

We work directly with winemakers to take wine from the barrel straight to you in bottles that can be refilled. This cuts out single use vessels and almost halves the weight in transport, meaning a drastically reduced carbon footprint. Plus, you can buy the wine for 30% cheaper!
