Angus Vinden is arguably a life-spring for the Hunter Valley right now, a region that’s seen a lot of opportunities slip by due to a holding to “the way things are done”. We can however be thankful for those like Angus that still translate the true beauty of the region vintage after vintage. His rosé holding steadfast to that incredible drive and strength that our warmer growing regions boast. Made up of Shiraz & Tempranillo, it rises up with that lean, dry red fruit that you can capture from Tempranillo when struck from a hot iron, the Shiraz teasing that restrained generosity that utterly quenching dry rosé can gift when the sun comes out and nothing else will suffice. Also a banging little food wine if you need something to be versatile on the table.
