Heathcote Dolcetto with 4 years on it now. It’s rosé in an aspect we rarely see, it’s broad, it’s got depth and development, not just a thin & fresh forgettable thing, it’s exciting because I’ve always wanted a rosé that works in winter and with this is so it. It’s got waxy red fruits, moreish residual sugars but there’s a darker tinge and lingering sense of each character. Rosé that’s not gross as soon as it’s not icy cold, moreish and cushioned.
